the perfect song

the perfect song for me is "last days of disco" from the american band Yo La Tengo. Yo La Tengo is my favorite band. I love that they exist, because always, when someone ask me about my favorite band  (A VERY VERY VERY DIFFICULT QUESTION), I can answer "Yo La Tengo" full of confidence and proud.

Anyway, talking about the perfect song to me, "Last Days of Disco" reminds me about a hard time when I was a teenager, the song just to made feel, sad but at the same time it was full of beauty, I just to listen to it all day and never get tired of it. Until now I love the beauty mixed with other feelings, I think anything happens once in a time; is all the stuff happening at the same time like the song of insinuate  in a kind of way (that's my reading).

I don't want to do a spoiler of the full lyrics, but it is like a poem, so simple and so complex, complex because they talk about a memory related to a song, and talk about the feelings the secret song the song is about evokes. And the music is very soft and nostalgic (like the lyrics). The past year I saw Yo La Tengo live for the first time, I wanted so hard to listen that song in direct, but they didn't  play it. I a way, I like they didn't play it, because now I have the hope that some day I will see they again and they maybe play  "Last days of disco".

My  opinion about the use of blogs in the English class I think is a very useful tool to us to lear English, and try to express ourselves  by writting is a big challenge, sometimes I think in something to say or write about, but I don't know the words, so I start to look aways to say it, and that means I start learning vocabulary and new expresions or another ways to say what I mean. Another thing I like about using the blog in English class is the topics that you propose, I really enjoyed writing about an important picture ("every picture tells a story") or writting about the cinematic potencial of Santiago city ("Santiago from my study program's point of view") and another topics. It makes me look for information or think about things I didn't write about before.
A career-related article I choose the next article: "  Oscar winning Chilean actress speaks of transgender inequalities", I think this article is very important related to my career, because we can see how the cinema can have an impact in the society.  When the Chilean Movie  "A Fantastic Woman" wins foreign language film Oscar, everyone starts questioning about the transgender laws in Chile. The article talks about The words of Daniela Vega after meeting the president Michelle Bachelet.   S he spoke of the inequalities transgender people face in our country.  We have seen a lot of people talking about the topics because the movie, and is great, there is a lot of different points of view around the debate and is great. The team winner of the oscar have said a lot of times they don't were looking for that kind of reaction from the audience and the people in general, and thats the point, the people started the movement.  LINK:  https...
Santiago de Chile  from a Visual Approach  Santiago have a lot of cinematic potential, I study cinema so I will talk about this. Santiago is very interesting in his visuality because, unlike another Sudamerican big cities, here the separation of the center with the periphery is very hard. In another cities there is a kind of mixture, here the dictatorship an other factors stablished the  radical separation. This thing, aborded from the visuality it means, is very strong; just enough you get in to a micro of the transantiago (bus), and you will see the city changing his face a lot of times. This thing is big challenge to the cinematic representation, if you want to representate Santiago you have to capture this changes and this differences. This separations make the citie becoma a map of different  ideas and social imaginarys . In my opinion, this thing, even if its a factor in comun with a lot of another cities, is one of the things that defines the vis...
